This interactive exhibition features hundreds of objects\, photographs\, artworks and films from the Yarrila Arts and Museum collection. A key highlight of Yaamanga (around here) is the short film\, Daalga Nginundi Wajaarr (Sing Your Country)\, which is informed by Yuludarla’s (Gumbaynggirr Creator) journey from north to south exploring miirlarl (sacred places)\, culture and history through song and cinema. The piece is a celebration of language and its revival and is an invitation for all people to learn the story of this place. It explores untold histories of Country; its triumphs and its sorrow and the dialogue Gumbaynggirr people have every day with her.Daalga Nginundi Wajaarr (Sing Your Country) was created by Alison Page and Nik Lachajczak of ZAKPAGE. DESCRIPTION:Recording Studio Induction		\n		\n			7 August – 13 September 2026Exhibition		\n					\n				Complete an induction to access professional equipment and software in the Digital Studio			\n			\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n		\n					\n				\n					Exhibition				\n				\n					Young Archie Coffs Harbour				\n				When\n				\n					7 August – 13 September 2026									\n			\n						Archibald Prize 2025Plan your visit	\n		\n		\n\nCoffs Harbour Libraries provide access to professional equipment and specialist software in the Digital Studio on Level 1 for recording\, mixing\, editing\, podcasting and mastering \n\n\n\nYou can use the recording studio for free for community/education use\, and for a small fee for professional/commercial use\, however you first must first complete a one-hour induction before you can book the studio. \n\n\n\nWe will show you how to use the gear\, what mics and equipment we have available and go over the booking policies. \n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A USER OF THE DIGITAL STUDIO\n\n\n\nParticipants must be over 16 years of age unless accompanied by an adult \n\n\n\nWhat does it cost to use the Digital Studio \n\n\n\nCommunity Use / Education: FreeCommercial: Bookings are capped at $120 per hour. Fees vary based on the activity\, booking frequency\, and required facilities. \n\n\n\nBEFORE YOU BOOK\n\n\n\nPlease become a Coffs Harbour Libraries member before you arrive. From basic recording to advanced features like noise reduction and track manipulation\, this course equips learners with essential skills to create high-quality audio content. \n\n\n\nWhat we’ll cover: \n\n\n\nExpertly export edited audio files in various formats for different platforms. \n\n\n\nFamiliarize with Audacity’s interface\, tools\, and essential functionalities. \n\n\n\nDownload and install Audacity software\, ensuring a seamless editing experience. \n\n\n\nMaster audio import\, from various sources including MP4 files\, and create projects. \n\n\n\nRecord and edit audio content\, applying labeling\, metadata\, and track view features. \n\n\n\nAdd and manipulate tracks for precise audio editing and enhancements. \n\n\n\nExplore noise reduction techniques\, normalization\, and other advanced edits. \n\n\n\nSplit and adjust tracks\, control audio speed\, and achieve seamless transitions.
