Who will enjoy RELICS?
Anyone who is young at heart. RELICS was designed for adults and is loved by children of all ages. There are layers of stories to be discovered that delight audiences of any age. RELICS includes two complimentary Scavenger Hunts: YOUNG for children and YOUNG AT HEART for adults.
Do I need tickets?
Yes, preferably pre-purchase, but purchase may be available on the day, however there will be limited numbers to ensure the enjoyment of all visitors.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are not offered on tickets unless Yarrila Arts and Museum is required to close due to unforeseen circumstances.
What if I need to change my ticket day?
You can easily switch your PAID tickets to a different day or time slot through Eventbrite. Simply log in to your Eventbrite account, go to Tickets, open your order, and select “Change Ticket”. Then choose your new session, review the details, and confirm the change to complete the transfer.
Are Companion Cards accepted?
Yes. Companion Cards are accepted, which provides free entry for the companion of a valid Companion Card holder attending the exhibition. Simply present the Companion Card on arrival, and a complimentary companion ticket will be issued.
What is the eligibility for a student or concession ticket?
Student and concession tickets are available for visitors who hold a valid full‑time student card or recognised concession card. Concession eligibility includes holders of Centrelink, Healthcare, Pension and Veteran cards, as well as full‑time student cards.
Can I bring food?
There is no food or drink allowed in the Gallery. Peach & Wolf Bakery is located in Yarilla Place and is a great place to stop in and enjoy. The cafe serves delicious Allpress coffee, fresh food and snacks.
Can I bring a pram?
Yes, absolutely. Backpacks and large bags are strongly discouraged and staff may ask you to remove your backpack or stow your bag for the safety of other visitors and the exhibition.
Is there a merchandise shop at the Gallery?
Yes, we will have fun and educational items available for purchase in the YAM Shop including the official RELICS program!
Is parking available?
Parking is available in the 7‑level parking station behind YAM, accessed from Castle or Vernon Street. All‑day parking is on levels 4 and above, with accessible parking on the ground floor. Ample street parking is also available in Coffs Harbour city centre.
Can I take photographs?
Yes, you can take photos, and we encourage you to do so! You can also share on social media and tag YAM and RELICS so Alex and Jackson can see your photos @yam.coffs @relicsexhibitions. Please ensure photos are for personal use only and no tripods, professional cameras or video camera equipment.
What is the age limit for children’s tickets?
Children tickets are aged from 4 – 15 years. Children aged 3 years and under are free.
What about access and inclusion?
RELICS is designed to be an enjoyable and accessible experience. It includes visual and auditory elements and a hands‑on activity space in The Workshop, free to all visitors. An Audio Description Tour is available and the exhibition is wheelchair accessible. Some displays include flashing lights.
How long is my session?
Session entry is timed to ensure all visitors have an exceptional experience and arrival must be during your designated session time. Once arrived, your visit is untimed and you may explore the exhibition at your own pace. Please allow at least 60 minutes and arrive one hour before closing.
Can I get a pass out?
Pass outs are only available for visitors needing to use the public bathrooms, or at the YAM staff discretion.
What if I would like to bring a group of over 10 people to RELICS?
