Celebrate Science Week at Yarrila Arts and Museum at this creative drop in session

Take on the challenge! Families are invited to design, build, and set off their very own wild and wonderful chain-reaction machine all inspired by the iconic Coffs Harbour Jetty. From tumbling marbles to tipping levers, anything goes in this hands-on, STEAM-powered self-guided activity.

Team up to dream up your crazy contraption, then bring it to life using our treasure trove of materials. Will your machine make it all the way down the mock jetty? There’s only one way to find out!
