Natalya Hughes: The Interior Tufting Workshop

Join artist Natalya Hughes for a hands-on workshop exploring textile design through tufting. Participants will learn processes that Natalya has used to create custom textile works featured in The Interior and design their own motif inspired by personal experiences, guided by the artist.

A highlight of The Interior is a series of seven hand-tufted rugs incorporating symbols drawn from Freud’s office and case studies. In this workshop, participants will create a motif reflecting their own narratives, using punch needling, an accessible and affordable technique similar to tufting gun methods.

Workshop includes all materials and a tufting kit to take home.
