Join us for an exhibition and artist talk with Petrina Hicks, one of Australia’s leading contemporary photographers. Discover the ideas behind Snakes and Mirrors, a captivating series that explores the relationship between humans and animals, animal consciousness, and the blurred boundaries between species through beautifully crafted, dreamlike imagery. Hear Petrina discuss her creative process, inspirations and the themes that underpin her work in this rare opportunity to gain insight into her acclaimed photographic practice.

Following the talk, photographers and emerging artists are invited to take part in a portfolio review workshop, where they can share their work and receive valuable feedback and professional insights from Hicks to help develop their photographic practice.
