Still Life, Still Moving – Drawing Workshop with Peggy Zephyr

Join STILL: National Still Life Award 2025 finalist, Peggy Zephyr and turn the ordinary into extraordinary with this playful drawing workshop where chance takes the lead. Participants will be presented with everyday objects, and a roll of the dice decides how it will be transformed. With each throw, new instructions shift the way you draw or even how the object is placed, hidden, or merged with another. 

As the session unfolds, familiar items become strange, humorous, or poetic. Sketches overlap, change direction, and accumulate into layered pages that record different perspectives in real time. The result is a lively, low-stakes experiment that reimagines the still life tradition showing how the everyday is never really still, but always in motion. 

All materials are provided. 

Recommended for adult (16+) 

No previous drawing experience required.
